Preparing for your soulmate

As with any prayer, your prayer to find love must be spoken and then surrendered. In other words, even if you say the prayer every evening or every morning, once you’ve spoken it, you want to let go and trust the universe to bring you your person. You want to go about your day as you normally would and know that the power of your prayer is working for you. 

Yes, go about your day enjoying your life. Simply be yourself everywhere you go and know that your beloved will show up at the right time in the right place in the right form. Let’s say that again. Just be yourself in all you do. And if that feels difficult you may have an indicator that your heart needs some more attention to prepare to receive your soulmate and build soul love together. 

If you do find that a part of your heart is closed, if you sense your mind doubts the arrival of your beloved, if your body holds any bitterness or resentment, then you are strongly encouraged to seek a space in which that may all be transformed and transmuted. You could do this with a coach, a therapist, with a program, in a conscious community or the like. Most importantly, seek a space that feels safe and supportive for you and your heart.

The more we prepare for love, the more that we live love fully here and now – realizing that we do not need to wait for our soulmate to live in love – then our romantic love will arrive all the sooner, on an accelerated timeline.

Remember that it’s OK and normal for one part of us to be consciously calling in love and while unconsciously, and at the same time, another part of us might be afraid of it. A part of us might even sabotage our efforts to find love. So stay aware of any part of you that might unknowingly resist the reality of a committed relationship, of true soul love, and unending divine union.

No matter what, you are not alone. Know that your prayer to find love will simultaneously serve you in your preparation for love. As you’ve likely heard before, and as Rumi so eloquently states, “It’s not for us to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers we’ve built against it.”
